Proctor Creek Stewardship Council meetings are held every first Friday of the month from 1pm-3pm with the exception of months in which a holiday falls on/around the first Friday. Location varies:
Our next Meeting is Friday, May 6, 2016 1:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church 1202 West Marietta Street NW Atlanta, GA 30318
Please come to share and learn about efforts to clean-up, protect, and restore the Proctor Creek watershed and its surrounding communities.
A grassroots, comprehensive watershed approach to improving our environment
Proctor Creek used to be a source of pride in our community -- a place where children played, a place where people were baptised, and a place where people could fish.
The Proctor Creek Stewardship Council is a grassroots group of stakeholders who live and work in the watershed. Supported by partner organizations including the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, Community Improvement Association, Eco-Action, Georgia State University, West side Communities Alliance, Help.org and many others, the Council works together to identify solutions to the challenges facing the watershed and press for radical action.
